ADRg Ambassadors is a partnership of qualified mediators who are all former Ambassadors.
Throughout our careers we have been called upon to tackle difficult international problems, often at the highest levels of government. Skills developed by Ambassadors - subtle personal diplomacy, cultural awareness, commercial acumen and an ability to understand all sides of an issue - are essential in resolving complex international disputes.
We now bring this experience to help resolve disagreements within and between international organisations, companies and governments.
ADRg Ambassadors is backed by the experience of ADR Group which pioneered mediation in the United Kingdom and has over 20 years' experience in the United Kingdom and internationally.
We can act as sole mediators, co-mediators or in Med-Arb procedures.
We also deliver senior mediation skills training and coaching. Our unique training draws on difficult real-life examples to combine the psychology and technique of professional mediation with operational diplomatic skills in resolving serious disputes.
Incorporating an ADRg Ambassadors Mediation Clause in contracts is one way to avoid costly and lengthy litigation when disputes arise.
Sample ADRg Ambassadors Mediation Clause:
In the event of a dispute between the parties arising out of or in connection with this Agreement the parties shall first attempt in good faith to negotiate an amicable settlement of that dispute.
Failing such a settlement within 30 days of either party declaring that a dispute has arisen, the parties shall refer the dispute to mediation by a mediator selected by mutual agreement by ADRg Ambassadors LLP, London; the mediation shall be conducted according to the Mediation Procedure of ADRg Ambassadors LLP.
Failing settlement of the dispute by mediation within 60 days from the parties having commenced the mediation in accordance with that Mediation Procedure the dispute shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris, by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with those Rules.
